The annual Skoll Awards for Social Entrepreneurship by the Skoll Foundation is calling applications from social entrepreneurs to award them with support grant in 2013. Winners of the award will be given the payment over a period of three years. The Skoll Foundation has been fostering society’s change agents since 1999 to achieve a sustainable world of peace and prosperity. To date, they have given out over $250 million to 85 social entrepreneurs and 70 organizations on five continents.
The schedule of the application process for the Skoll Awards is as follows:
Accepting applications: January 4 – March 1, 2012
Organizations notified of application status: July 2012
Finalist due diligence on select organizations: July – October 2012
Skoll Award recipients announced: November 2012
Skoll Award recipients celebrated at the Skoll World Forum: March 2013
