Do you run an innovative project, an inclusive business or a social enterprise in nutrition, water, or rural development?
If so Nestlé is offering a chance to scale up your impact by nominating your initiative in the Nestlé Prize in Creating Shared Value.
This Prize is awarded every two years to help innovative, commercially viable, and high impact initiatives achieve social scale and financial sustainability. It was awarded for the first time in May 2010, and then in November 2012.
The winning entry will benefit from an investment of up to CHF 500,000 (approximately USD 530,000).
The contest is open to individuals, not-for-profit organizations, governmental and intergovernmental organizations, private enterprises, and academic institutions. A winner will be selected by the Nestlé Creating Shared Value Advisory Board and presented with the award at the 2014 Creating Shared Value Forum.
Specific fields of activity include, but are not limited to:
- Improving access to nutrition and increasing nutrition knowledge.
- Improving access to water and protecting water resources.
- Developing local agricultural value chain and integrating smallholder farmers in the supply chain.
Nominations are due March 31, 2013.
