From now until February 18, social entrepreneurs working in Ireland are eligible to apply for the Social Entrepreneurs Ireland Awards Programme, which provides financial and non-financial support to eight social entrepreneurs.
Every year since 2004, Social Entrepreneurs Ireland invites those with a running innovative solution looking to grow their social impact to apply. These entrepreneurs will be selected as a finalist for either the Impact Programme or Elevator Programme.
Three finalists will be placed in the Impact Programme for two to three years and will receive €130,000 in growth capital and capacity building funding as well as training, mentoring, and support.
Five finalists will be selected for the one-year Elevator Programme which provides €22,000 in funding and training and mentoring for early-stage social entrepreneurs to refine their ideas.
Since 2009, Social Entrepreneurs Ireland also partners with Guinness to run the Arthur Guinness Fund, which has provided funding to programs in Ireland, the U.S., Indonesia, Nigeria, and Ghana. Applicants are eligible to apply for both awards.
